The Day Care Center Escámez Alfonso El Algar, along with the Municipal Social Services, has organized this November for various activities such as canine therapy session to be held on Thursday, 22.
This activity is within the so-called Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), interventions by a professional therapist integral part of the rehabilitation process.
During the months of October and November the biggest Algar Center, operated by the Association Golden Age of Peace Messengers Murcia, are participating in the benefits of such therapy, sharing a time of enjoyment and living with a dog breed trained Yorkshire by the center's psychologist.
In this therapy are activities of psychomotor, cognitive and emotional they intended to achieve different objectives such as improving motor skills, encourage verbal communication, enhance memory, attention and perception, develop creativity, channeling emotions promote and enhance relationships.
In addition, other activities are scheduled, as a cultural visit to MURAM, November 22, and Reiki workshops and chestnut, to the 28th and 29th of this month.
