Cartagena City Council has been chosen to host the presentation of acts of twinning between Fishermen's Association and the Association of Jesús Nazareno de La Union, to be held on Sunday 18 November and today presented Councillor Social Care, Antonio Calderon, the Councillor for Tourism and Union Security, Antonio Liarte, and the president of the neighboring municipality of Nazareth, Joseph Cortado.
This twinning, which, as recalled Calderon reinforces the links between Cartagena and La Union, a return to its origins in the first image was the grouping of the Nazarene Brotherhood Marraja Cartagena, commissioned an artist carving Valencian 1939 and in the 40 was replaced by a new and sold to the grouping of the Nazarene in La Union.
The story is that while in Cartagena, Jesus was engaged in the Fishermen's Association of Santa Lucia with the name of Jesus Cartagena, hence the central act of twinning is to be held at the headquarters of the Fish.
Sunday's events begin at 9.15 hours with a drum parade through the streets of La Union and, on 9.40, will the image of the Church of the Nazarene in Rosario FEVE direction, which has provided a special train to move to station the size of Cartagena.
There, at 11.30 hours there will be a reception in the participation, enter authorities, the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé and Social Care Councilman of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon.
Then will go in procession to the Fish, St. Lucia, doing the usual route of Jesus mako at dawn Friday in Cartagena but in the opposite direction, at 12.45 pm and held a solemn Mass celebrated by the pastor of the Union and the San Ginés de la Jara.
