The International Film Festival of Cartagena (FICC), which will run d 9 to 14 December, has launched a new section dedicated to youth.
The purpose of Young amateurs is that students know the classics.
This new section is for students of 3rd and 4th of ESO and 1 ° and 2 ° of Baccalaureate.
This section will screen the classic film great films, giving special prominence to Spanish cinema.
Also, young people will start in film theory, visual language and cinematic genres and currents, and they know the work of the great filmmakers of all time.
The FICC will provide materials to teachers in their classrooms, working with students and, as a coda to the lectures, students will attend one of the screenings.
This first stage is dedicated to l Spanish director Luis Garcia Berlanga.
From it will screen The heifer, Welcome, Mister Marshall!
and Placido.
Screenings will take place at the New Theatre Circus on 10, 11 and 12 December at 11:45 hours.
