The Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Cartagena and the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Cartagena (integrated THADERCONSUMO) has started in schools in Cartagena a new training campaign.
With this, they are already 15 years that has been developing such campaigns which aim to disseminate the rights and duties of consumers f orming the youngest in current issues related to consumption.
The theme for this year was?-CONSUMPTION RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION Social Media aimed at children aged 5 and 6 of primary education, whose ages are initiated in the use of internet and use it to interact.
So in these workshops is about training on security and privacy online, tips to meeting people in chat rooms, the involuntary discharge of viruses and Trojans, the importance of using strong passwords, the use of webcams and problems that may arise as harassment or cyberbullying and how to react and defend it.
The talks began last October 16 at the Colegio San Felix and prologarán throughout the quarter in schools that have claimed the activity.
This year so as novelty and interesting theme, these workshops will be complemented by talks in parents associations taught by instructors and psychologists.
