Municipal Intercultural Centers Pain and Old Town yesterday received a visit from a group of volunteers from the NGO Action Baobab, drawing on the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, reported the plight of children in Madagascar.
Baobab action arose in 2009 on the initiative of a cartagenera that launched the Children's House, a program to promote school integration, social work and Malagasy families, in which serves 110 children, providing canteen service , school, educational and recreational activities healthcare.
Baobab Action Volunteers in intercultural centers presented a video with images of the project development, which opened a debate in which questions arose and exchanges of views.
In addition, the NGO gave to both centers a bracelet made by children of Madagascar and showed themselves toys made with scrap materials.
