Coffee appeared Monday Hafa, a book of poetry with which Veronica Casado Madrid in November 2011 won the award for Poetry XXVI Belmas Antonio Oliver.
The presentation of the book, published by the regional editor Tres Fronteras, was developed in the ceremonial hall of the Palace Hall, and was attended by the author together with the Councillor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, Rosario Montero, and Director General Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Gimenez.
The International Poetry Prize Antonio Oliver Belmas happened to be convened twice a year, is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People of the City University of Cartagena.
In the words of Vicente Gallego, foreman of the jury that chose the work of Veronica Casado among the more than 170 poems from various countries, Café Hafa is a book of true poetry, contemplative and delicate stroke.
A book generates a feeling of affection for the world and the things which are seen, which are often the misery of the places he walks, but always counterbalanced by the beauty of the natural environment.
Married Veronica Aranda, born in Madrid in 1982, has a degree in Spanish Philology, among other awards and has won the International Poetry Prize IV Iron Margarita (2009) and the poetry prizes Joaquin Benito de Lucas, Youth Poetry Antonio Carvajal, Jose Agustín Goytisolo and Young Art of the Community of Madrid.
And published the poems: 'Poet in India' (Melibea, 2005) and "Tattoo" (Hyperion, 2005).
His writing has been included in the anthologies: 'The day it snowed on the orange' (Córdoba, 2006), 'Sonnet Anthology' (Seville, 2006), 'Love poetry noctiluca' (2004).
During the 2005-2006 academic year received a grant of creation Antonio Gala Foundation for Young Artists (Córdoba).
Involved in various literary magazines and some of his poems have been translated into English, French, Portuguese, Macedonian, Nepali.
The selection jury consisted of the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, and members of the same Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Vicente Gallego, Salvador Garcia Jimenez, Blanca Andreu and Eloy Sanchez Rosillo.
The prize is endowed with 12,000 euros, the publication of poems and a commemorative sculpture by artist Mayte Defruc.
