The Association of Mentally Ill Cartagena and Shire, pices, celebrated with a batucada the Mental Health Day. The ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Women, Clara Heredia.

Also, pices has distributed leaflets in which they state that 450 million people worldwide suffer from mental illness and, of these, 80% are unemployed.

The association aims to bury myths like that mental illness can be reversed, not always hereditary and no means less brainpower.
