The Mar Menor will be scenario, in this case with the Club Nautico de Los Nietos, a big event in the sport of sailing, particularly the Championship of Spain of the Snipe Class, held from 11 to 14 October, in which 70 boats will participate and 140 sailors.
A formal presentation of the championship, which took place on Tuesday, attended by the Councillor for Sports, José Cabezos, along with club president, José María García-Carreño, and the director, Carlos Caro.
The national championship is and will bring together athletes from more than a dozen regional governments, some of them at the highest level, such as the Asturian ngela Pumariega, gold medal at the Olympic Games in London in the class Mach Race.
In addition, the brothers are also murcianos Sánchez Ferrer, who were runners-up in Europe in Italy last August and Borras and Alejandro Damián Fresneda, who achieved the title of vice world Master Snipe class in the waters of Mar Menor last September.

The sporting event will start on Thursday, with a day devoted to measurements crews, training and registration of participants.
From Saturday to Sunday, various tests will be played in the championship to be unveiled champions Spain in the different categories: Absolute, Youth and Women.
The opening ceremony will be Thursday, at 21:00 pm, while Sunday will be the closing at 17:00.
