The agency Local Development and Employment (ALDE) has trained 295 people since the beginning of the year.
During 2012 and have taught workshops Workshop School The Halt, Job shop Casa Mayor, lifeguard, swimming instructor, Infant Stimulation, Public Attention English, English Commercial Management, Basic Computer, media and sports instructor.
In the offices of the Local Development Agency and Employment has received 737 requests to attend various training activities.
Employment Workshop Casa Mayor, and the Workshop School The Apeadero are mixed programs and employment training, funded by the Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena, the Regional Employment and Training, and the European Social Fund.
The Casa Mayor employment workshop aims to train unemployed people aged 25 to 54 years to facilitate their employment.
The 40 women who are participating in this program acquire vocational training and work experience in caring for dependent people, making practices in residential and home care services.
For its part, the school workshop the stop, is training 43 students aged 16 to 25 years without studies.
The actions of this school focus on remodeling the halt in Barrio Peral and reform of the Plaza de la Merced, through five workshops are: two masonry, one of facilities, other carpentry and other landscaping.
In the summer, the ALDE organized a lifeguard course in which 13 young unemployed attended.

LANGUAGE
The ALDE also started earlier this year some courses to improve English skills in various productive sectors such as customer service, tourism, administration, management, trade and marketing.
In this first half of the agency trained 42 people in this area, through the course of English and English Public Attention Business Management.
About 150 people spent a placement test in order to participate in these training activities.
With the implementation of these training activities, the Local Development Agency and Employment aims to improve employment opportunities for unemployed people of the municipality, as well as enhancing the skills of current workers.
