Provide students with an update on the new psychological treatments existing mental disorders with the highest incidence in the population, is the goal of "Clinical Psychology Course IV: advances in psychological treatments" organized by the International University Campus Mare Nostrum Mar- , to be held in the Hall of Cartagena CAM between 12 and 14 September, in the summer school program offered by the University of Murcia.
According to officials of the course, the major development in psychological treatments operated in recent years has made it possible that there is a wide variety of therapies aimed at addressing mental problems.
The activity provides a review of disorders such as sleep apnea, fears and phobias, depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, deepening its importance in the mental health and quality of life.
The course is taught by professors from the universities of Murcia, La Laguna and Granada.
Its directors are Gualberto Buela-Casal and Wenceslao Castro Peñate, Professors of Psychology at the Universities of Granada and La Laguna respectively.
The activity has a duration of 25 hours, and who may choose to enroll 2.5 free credits.
