LESS saves and MÃ S CURES
As pointed out by Councilman Safety, Mariano Garcia, the provisional balance recorded in these checkpoints since last June 1, which were put into service in stages also sheds fewer saves than other years , because there has been less stormy days, and a greater number of cures and first aid, mainly for jellyfish stings, which like the rest of the Mediterranean coast increased their presence.
So far there have been 10 763 priests and first aid, as a result of the dynamic monitoring that rescuers have found trying to anticipate events.
This has also led to a decrease in the number of transfers in ambulances to health centers, 95 in total, as it offers rapid response vehicles (VIR) with nurses who were able to attend in situ cases that previously required transfer to hospital .
98 are also reported saves: 84 and 14 persons to boats and other floating objects.
They have attended four syndromes of immersion, of which three were taken to health centers and one died on the beach.
Finally cardiorespiratory attended three stops heart attacks, with two dead and one traladado to hospital.
For the council the data demonstrate the usefulness of this service and the function it provides to beach users, preventing dangerous situations and making users feel safer.
