The Ballet of St. Petersburg, one of the most prestigious dance companies of Russia, come to Cartagena with a timeless classic ballet, Swan Lake, designed by the prominent Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky's romanticism (1840-1893).
The Swan Lake tells the story of Prince Siegfried, who must choose between the young wife of the kingdom.
Attracted by a group of swans on the lake, is captivated by the beauty of Odette, a woman-swan, a victim of the spell of the sorcerer Rothbart.
She may only collect Odette human aspect overnight, and the spell broken only who swear eternal love.
During the dance, the Prince, tricked by the wizard, choose to wife the daughter, who has been transformed into the double of Odette.
Siegfried returns to the lake and begs forgiveness from his true love, Rothbart and challenge to try to break the curse.
