The Municipal Group of United Left-Green has presented today a question Councilwoman Social Care, Antonio Calderon, on the situation of workers of the company SAL Home Care, dealership by the council of that service.
The 70 employees of that commodity have announced the call for a strike because they have not claimed the last three payslips.
This situation would not care about 500 people over the municipality in need of help as normal, everyday events such as eating, showering or changing diapers.
By the municipality, through said Councilman Social Care ensures that the concession contract includes payment to 60 days and is aware that, while the company says that the debt is less workers.
This crossing of statements does not provide solutions to a problem that harms more than five hundred persons in need of such aid and the 70 workers who do not receive their salary.
Thus, Councilwoman Maria Rosa Mateo submitted an interpellation in requesting information on the actual situation of the payments to the dealership, the control mechanisms that have been established in the concession contract to ensure compliance with the company with their employees and the possibility that, due to breaches, such a concession may be withdrawn and awarded to another commercial.
It has also asked the Councillor of the United Left-Greens on the measures it intends to take the City in the event that the strike announced by the workers in defense of their legitimate rights, leave those serving more than 500 people over the municipality.
