The Roman Theatre Muso sneaks into the classrooms of schools in the region and the rest of Spain.
Or at least that's what they want Prodicus project managers, who have developed a tutorial to teach students and secondary bachiler the history of the Roman theaters and in particular that of Cartagena.
The councilman of Culture, Rosario Montero, director of the Teatro Romano, Elena Ruiz Valderas this morning presented the book that have begun to market for the next academic year and will serve as a basis for preparing students visiting the monument.
Its publication is the fruit of labor and cooperation between teachers and museum staff, responding equally to the concerns of the museum itself to fulfill its educational and cultural diffusion, and it has been possible thanks to the Friend of the Museum Program of the Roman Theatre in the participating companies and partners to develop actions to promote the dissemination of cultural heritage which houses the Museum.
The book is divided into several thematic sections, as explained Valderas.
The volume explains why constuyó a theater in Cartagena, theaters over the wood to stone in ancient Rome and the political and Religious theaters.
It also has some resources to work in the classroom.
There are 300 Roman theaters in the world and this guide can be used by other teachers who do not have theater in their community, noted director Roman Theatre Museum.
During this academic year have been 9,000 schools across the region by the Roman Theatre.
And hopefully with this guide to double the number of visitors from schools during the next academic year.
