Councilman Employment, Diego Ortega, and the director of the Agency of Local Development and Employment, Francisco Garcia-Valenzuela, today visited the students of the program of the Employment Healthy ADLE, who are practicing in the headquarters of the Association for Mentally Ill Community Integration of Cartagena and its region (apex).
Students do practical training of maintenance and refurbishment of the facilities of the Association, with performances like the assembly of plasterboard panels, fencing of border areas, placement of doors and platelets and interior painting activities.
Employment Program participants are users of both Healthy Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia (ISOL), and the Association of Families of Mentally Ill of Cartagena. - (Apex), and this time they will work together and cooperate in the proceedings described above.
ADLE Since the program started Jobs Healthy, numerous actions have been conducted in different localities and municipal facilities.
The objective sought is to improve the chances of social integration of people with mental illness and substance abuse associated with mental disease, by performing pre-employment workshops and various activities that promote autonomy, independence and social integration of this group.
