The Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars wrapped the Town Hall last night with roots reggae.
The group performed at the Festival of the Sea of Music to present their latest album Radio Salone.
Despite having lived through dark times, Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars have always done a music full of messages of hope and joyful rhythms.
In Radio Salone demonstrated once again connecting the sounds of Africa Ocidental traditions with roots reggae in a way that had never been explored before.
After living the horrors of civil war in Sierra Leone, the components of the band, Reuben Koroma in front, continue to evolve musically in an exciting way, going beyond their jam sessions in refugee camps in Guinea and the crudeness of his first recordings in natural capital Freetown.
