The Cartagena 22,085 unemployed may be affected next August in a reduction of subsidies received by the entry into force of Royal Decree-Law 20/2012 of 13 July of measures to ensure fiscal stability and to promote competitiveness.
The new decree establishes a new rate 50% of the base (previously 60%) from the seventh month, which only apply to new recipients.
But the decree adds, as has been announced by the PP government, which made the elimination of social security contributions by the managing body (INEM) of part of the contribution that corresponds to the worker unemployed.
This measure in practice means that so far the INEM paid 65% of Social Security contributions of the unemployed, while it was paying 35% (deducted from her benefit).
From now on will be deducted from the allowance to the unemployed to 100% of Social Security contributions.
This discount is in practice less than 30 euros subsidy by the amount of the provision, and the wording of the BOE of 14 July (p. 50433) does not specify whether this measure is for the newly unemployed or for all citizens unemployed.
Finally from SPCT, we urge MEP Pilar Barreiro that frontally oppose this new cut of the PP government, which came into force, and has not been announced by the PP in an act of concealment by unprecedented cuts of a government.
