On Monday 16 July, the town of Cartagena de Los Urrutias celebrate the day of the patron saint, the Virgen del Carmen, and it has prepared a series of events that begin early, at 8 am, with a Flowered Diana by the Banda de Santa Cecilia Pozo Music Strait.
Then, at 11.00 pm and proceed to the solemn Mass presided by Pastor Rev. Archpriest of the Mar Menor, Jose Maria Serrano.
In the course of it, enlivened by the Choir Rondalla of El Algar, will take place a wreath to the Virgin.
This mass is due to attend District Councilman Juan Jose Martinez, who also participate in the procession which goes shoreline at 18.30 hours from the church towards the marina to board and get to Punta Brava, returning walk to the church where a Mass will be held.
The employer shall be accompanied by the Band of Santa Cecilia.
The Urrutias is immersed in their summer holidays, which will run throughout the months of July and August.
