This is a dramatic expressive carving, inherited from the Baroque iconography plastic.
The details of anatomy and root Impressionist naturalism characterize the entire production Benlliure and Gil (1862-1947).
The intervention of the piece consisted of a healing process of fumigation by anoxia, for which manufactured a plastic Ziploc bag to kill wood-eating insects.
The restoration of the piece represents an investment of 7,000 euros to the region and has lasted a month.
