The Local Government Board, meeting at noon, under the chairmanship of the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, approved the proposal of Councillor Rea Planning, Environment and Heritage, Joaquin Segado, to request the addition of the City of Cartagena to the Local Governments Network of Biodiversity, sponsored by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
As explained Mowing is a network of some 200 Spanish municipalities, eight in the Region of Murcia. The objective of this network is to obtain technical advice and support for the preservation of biodiversity in their territories and exchange experiences.
The integration of this network will also allow the City of Cartagena access a range of grants and subsidies for European studies on the natural habitat and wildlife in various parts of the municipality.
MANAGE THE CATHEDRAL OF THE SEA RODS OF MÚSICAS
The Governing Board also approved the allocation of employment authorization and operation of some areas of the municipal public domain in the Auditorium of the Park Towers, with bar bar for the Festival La Mar de Musicas or other events playful.
In this tender had been submitted four bids.
The successful bidder has been submitted by the bar's Cathedral, the Plaza de la Condesa de Peralta, who has received the highest score by the municipal technical services.
The award period is two years and change the contractor must cover the installation of chemical toilets required by the festival as well as catering for the artists.
The winner will mount three bars, two in the vicinity of the Village Gate and one at the esplanade of the castle where you can sell drinks, snacks, tapas and snacks.
REPSOL 50,000 EUROS TO PROVIDE SEA MÚSICAS
Last, among other matters, the Board of Governors approved the addition to the budget of the Sea Music of an item of € 50,000 grant from the Repsol delivered this year to celebrate the Festival.
