On Friday held the closing ceremony and awarding of diplomas to the 39 participants of the fourth edition of Active Training Workshops for Citizenship, organized by the Municipal Social Services
A total of 39 people, from Morocco, Bolivia, Senegal, Nigeria, Mali, Algeria, Romania, Ecuador and Ghana, have participated in the fourth edition of Active Training Workshops for Citizenship. Last Friday received in an act held at the Graduates, diplomas attesting the completion of the courses, from the hands of the immigration program manager and development cooperation of the Municipal Institute of Social Services, Lucia Hernandez.
From the first quarter, have been doing these workshops for active citizenship, in which 148 people participated.
This is an action aimed at the immigrant population of the municipality, where they receive basic information about the functioning of public services, as well as the laws on the rights and duties in force, with the aim of promoting social cohesion and harmony .
The sessions are held in the municipal of Housing Graduate and Mediterranean.
In total there were fourteen hours of training for each group, divided into seven sessions, which has carried out the following schedule: Sociopolitical System Spanish (2 hours), City of Cartagena, and Coexistence in Ciudad Barrios (2 hours) , City Council and European Union (2 hours), Municipal Social Services System (2 hours), Female (2 hours), Training and Employment (2 hours), Foreign Educational Systems (1 hour).
These training workshops are taught by professionals Municipal Immigration Program of the Municipal Institute of Social Services City of Cartagena.
