The Information Committee of Finance and Home Affairs, meeting this afternoon, chaired by the councilor of the area, Fatima Suanzes, has ruled out of the agenda, the report on the status of implementation of the municipal budget 2012 to March 31 , 2012.
Suanzes has stated that this first quarter is usually the lowest in the degree of implementation.
The data, they show, as at that date had entered 18 percent of the budget for the year, mainly due to the vehicle tax, and had spent 14 percent of predicted for 2012.
As pointed Suanzes this quarterly report is new, as from now the Municipal Government plans to submit a quarterly statement liquidation of the financial year, which then must be approved by the full and posted on the municipal website for the information of all citizens.
DISOLUCIÃ "N OF PMD
With the votes against PSOE, IU-Green and MC, the Finance Commission has ruled favorably on the proposal of Councillor Rea of ​​Culture, Archaeological Heritage, Education, Women and Sports Celebrations, Rosario Montero, for the dissolution autonomous municipal agency called Municipal Sports and the assumption of its powers and its staff by the City of Cartagena.
It has also been ruled favorably, this time unanimously, the proposal from the Department of Finance on local festivals for 2013, which will be on 22 March (Good Friday) and 27 September (Carthaginians and Romans) , since the autonomous region has declared a regional holiday in 2013 on Holy Thursday.
WORKS IN THE OLD TOWN
With the abstention of MC, the Finance Committee has cleared the proposal of Councillor of Finance to take remnants of various councils investments amounting to some 280,000 euros in order to carry out various projects in the Old Town.
This amount will add to other remnants of urbanization outside the auditorium for an amount of 600,000, recently approved by the Governing Board.
With these 880,000 euros the council of Infrastructure plans procurement remove the surface treatment of the Arch streets of Charity, St. Vincent, Laughing Square and Plaza del Sevillano, drawing on the works of replacing water and sewer networks that will them out in the City, through the dealership's service, Aquagest.
Another issue that has been audited and counted with the abstention of PSOE, IU, and MC Green, has been the inclusion in the 2012 municipal budget of 4.5 million subscribers by the City to various municipal providers through ICO payment plan.
As pointed out by Fatima Suanzes these sums already paid and owed for updates of contracts from previous years and that were not reflected in budgets.
GREATER TRANSPARENCY AND AGILITY IN BILLS
The committee has also addressed the approval of the general operating instructions of the Register of Bills of the City of Cartagena, in order to meet deadlines of default.
This regulation, once approved by the plenary will be available on the website of the City by the suppliers.
Among other things sets out the process to be followed to submit invoices in the register and which shall state the corresponding service that made them the order.
The goal is to provide transparency and flexibility to the system, ensuring that it meets the system of priority of payments and on time.
The opinion has had the abstention of PSOE, IU and MC.
Finally, outside the agenda, the Commission gave a favorable opinion, with the PSOE votes against.
IU-Green and MC, the final dissolution of the Association of Tourist Services of the Mar Menor, which belonged to the city of Cartagena with the rest of the coastal municipalities.
