On Thursday, June 21, the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, will host a group of 50 teachers from nine schools in several European countries (Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey, Wales and Spain ), which have come to Cartagena for the ninth and final workshop on the occasion of OUR SCHOOL GARDEN Comenius Project, which coordinates nursery school and primary Asomada.
The visit will take place at 17.45 hours in the reception hall of the Palace Hall.
Participants in this project remain in Cartagena on 20 21, 22, 23 and 24, during which held several meetings.
Our School Garden is the first project Comenius school of La Asomada.
This is an ambitious project given the high number of participating countries.
Its main objective is to develop in students a positive attitude towards the environment, teaching them the need to conserve and care, making them feel this way European citizens, through agricultural activities, work skills both own foreign and multidisciplinary work .
The existence of a school garden in each of the centers, allowing them to share and exchange the tasks carried out both in the garden, such as those made in the classroom in digital format, considering them as an educational resource, creating different ways of working an interdisciplinary, making it possible to involve the entire school community students, teachers and families.
