Municipal buildings have their QR code (English acronym meaning barcode rapid response).
The City Council has installed more than 80 so that users can access via their mobile phones to the Internet and know the schedules, the history of the building before which are tourist information.
Through the Data Processing Center (DPC), the City has developed an application that has allowed the installation of 51 QR Codes in municipal buildings (building San Miguel, Local Development Agency, SKIP, halls, libraries, ....) , 13 in the resorts of Cartagena Port of Cultures and 22 informational booths on the beaches whose contents may be updated or replaced by others without physically changing the stickers with the code.
Through them, users will find information on historical reviews of buildings, schedules, phone numbers and general information.
The aid posts the beaches include information on the services of each, the state of the beach, access conditions, map.
In all there are links to general information on Cartagena hotels, restaurants, cultural activities, sports and city news.
