A total of 25 pupils aged between 2 and 7 years, the center hosted in Home for Children, participated Thursday in Driver Education Days organized by the local police, a program of activities aimed at bringing the police functions of these children, who for various reasons have had traumatic experiences in their lives, and may have a distorted image of the agents.
With this project, the police intend to promote voluntary approach and respect for the police, publicizing its work among children.
During these talks on road safety, the agents try to educate students about the importance of respecting traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, such as walking around the city, restraints or need to ride in the car.
