A group of 25 largest Arts Workshop organized by the Municipal Social Services, participated Tuesday in a cultural visit to the city of Elche, where they made ​​a tour of the Basilica of Santa Maria, Tower of Calahorra, Group Sculpture the Marys, the sculptor Juan Jose Quiros Cartagena, Casa de la Festa, the Museum of Our Lady, the Garden of Healing and Palm.
Through a walk in the streets of Elche, a city of contrasts, visitors could discover the combination of noble buildings, evidence of past glory with the elements of a young and dynamic city.
This Workshop for the Arts began in January and ended in June, focusing on a quarterly basis in different art forms, such as modeling and painting, Christmas decorations, carnival and sacred imagery, which have been the most common content of this educational activity.
As for the material they used was very varied: clay, paint and color, plaster and other textures, with whom we have worked in the classroom over the building of the Miraculous, every Friday.
