Beginning Thursday, June 7, will be cut to traffic for a month the streets Mahon, Soller and Citadel to mark the start of construction of the future urbanization of San Ginés Park, behind Regional Centre of the UNED.
According to sources have required the Office of Local Police Traffic will be blocked off the streets until 7 July.
Works affecting the unity of action 13 of the Eixample, whose goal is the creation of another large public park in the area.
Specifically, on a plot of 26,800 square meters, of which 14,790 will be used for green and 5,600, located next to the old school Antonio Arevalo, tertiary uses, specifically the installation of a supermarket.
The project is promoted by the commercial Inversora the Kingdom of Valencia SL, which will assume the urbanization of the environment and invest one million euros in building the new green, without cost to the City Council and under the supervision of the municipal technicians.
Among the actions are also foreseen urbanization, lighting and paving of the streets that connect the street perimeter Mahon, with Round Union.
