The IES Mediterranean bears a few days to students from other countries. Germans, Poles and Turks have come to the school to participate in the port cities such as Comenius project meeting point.
Students have visited this morning the Palace Hall, where the council has received the Ruth Youth Collado and welcomed them to town.
Collaborating on this project the following schools:

Students return this week to their hometowns after attending conferences and lectures on the history of Cartagena, the importance of tourism and the port and having visited the Mar Menor and La Manga.
The last meeting will be next year in Poland.
The project aims at deepening the knowledge of history, social and economic importance of ports of the cities involved, and the impact on daily life from living in a port city.
At the same time know the characteristics similar to other European port cities, and those differences we.
English is used as a means of communication between the participating centers which is a great incentive for learning by students.
