The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, today presented Friday, June 1, plaques of recognition for services rendered to the 22 municipal officials who have reached retirement during the last twelve months.
The ceremony took place in the ceremonial hall of the Palace Hall, attended the Councillor in addition to Finance and Personnel, Suanzes Fatima, and the head of Human Resources, José Serrano.
The delivery of these plates is performed during the recent celebration of the feast of St. Rita, patron saint of officials of the City of Cartagena.
The 22 people who have retired have been in the municipal administration in periods ranging from 11 to 47 years of service.
The honorees were: Francisco Sanchez Leva, Luis Rodriguez Viguri Segura, Manuel Lopez Lopez, Maria Josefa Sanchez Perez, Josefa Manrubia Cayuela, Jose Hernandez Ortega, Jose Izquierdo Casanova, Juan Antonio Sierra Portillo, Juan Garcia Garcia, Jose Garcia Amoros, Ã Luis Angel Garcia Garcia, Antonio Gallego Murcia, Jose Luis Navarro Bleda, Maria Jesus Achega Jauregui, Eugenio Rosique Baldo, Jose Valles Alcon, Charity Register Falco, Juan María Martínez Cuadrado, Manuel Romero Cuevas, Charlotte Aguirre April, Catalina Garcia and Gonzalo Manuel Hawk Lopez Martinez.
In his speech the mayor expressed his gratitude to the officials for their cooperation and work done, often more allas of strict obligation.
