The XIII World Senior Championship Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, which was held this weekend at the Municipal Sports Hall of Cartagena, with the participation of over 400 gymnasts from fourteen countries, It closed Sunday with the awards ceremony and medals to the winners.
While the ranking is led the Russians, who were first and third place for clubs and first in the national rankings, the Bulgarians were in second place and Spain was ranked third country.
Of the 30 teams that competed this weekend in Cartagena, from Austria, Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Hungary, Russia, Ukraine and Spain, twelve went to the end, dominated by emotion, sportsmanship and a great stage.
The closing ceremony was attended by the aldermen of Sports, José Cabezos, Tourism, Palazón Carolina and Employment, Diego Ortega, who, by the Director General of Sports, Antonio Penalver, and the president of the International Association of Aesthetic Gymnastics Group, Alejandra Tuomala, were responsible for awarding trophies and medals.
