On Tuesday May 29 closes Computer Course for more relevant to Level II, included in the schedule from April to May, organized by the Municipal Institute of Social Services.
Since 24 April, a total of 25 seniors have participated in this training that has developed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 to 13:00, in the computer room of the building of the Miraculous.
The aim of this initiative is to provide greater knowledge and skills in managing the computer, so that access to new technologies through the various tools, such as the Internet, the Office software package and PhotoShop , among others.
Major Program of the City of Cartagena, through its various courses is to encourage the active participation of older people, occupying their free time creatively and orderly develop their personal skills and promoting the social and cultural exchange.
Furthermore, this can prevent situations of isolation and loneliness and improve quality of life, creating opportunities for participation and socio-cultural activities appropriate to their demands and needs and promoting an active, physical, mental and social seniors .
