The Local Government Committee this morning approved the annual call for grants to organizations and sports associations for the year 2012, amounting to 650,000 euros.
With the aid is applicable to the enormous effort made sports and educational and sports clubs benefiting especially the young.
Through these grants will help, among other things, to cover arbitration expenses, travel, sports equipment and federal licenses.
The beneficiaries of these subsidies, the bases will be published in the Official Gazette of the Region, may be institutions, organizations and associations legally established.
The Governing Board also approved the annual call for grants to neighborhood associations and nonprofit groups for the conduct of public entertainment by the process of competitive tendering.
The amount to be distributed among the applicants 80,000 euros.
It has also been given the green light to direct aid to 59 women's associations to the activities amounting to 37,600 euros and 17,500 euros for the Federation of Associations of Women Mediterranean and 8,000 euros to the Housewives' Association , Consumers and Users.
Finally, we have awarded 19,265 euros to the neighborhood associations of Miranda, San Anton, The Azohía, San Isidro (La Madeleine), Torreciega, La Palma, La Manga and Cabo de Palos, and the Cultural and Sports Center La Palma, by performing various activities.
