The fruit of the work we conducted for five years for maintenance and improvement of infrastructure in our beaches, not just in summer but throughout the year, we gather now in the form of Q for Tourist Quality, eleven distinctive specifically, what makes Cartagena in the municipality over Q in Spain.
This was stated by the general coordinator and Coastal Infrastructure, Gabriel Ruiz, who along with Councilman Infrastructure, Francisco Espejo, will attend the June 5 to the delivery of these flags to be held in the auditorium of the Ministry Industry and Tourism.
In this act, the minister, José Manuel Soria, physically deliver the flags on the beaches then will look for.
Minor Outlying Islands, Mar de Cristal, Playa Honda, Levante Lost Ship, La Gola, Cavanna, Cala del Pino, Galúa San Ginés and Cala Cortina, are well recognized by the Ministry for the quality of bathing, cleaning and security.
As pointed out by Ruiz, the goal is to continue working to attract quality tourism and promote income for the region of Cartagena.
Responsible for granting the Q Mark is the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE), certification of quality systems specially created for tourism businesses.
A Spanish body, private, independent, nonprofit and recognized throughout the country level.
