Local police officers arrested in Cartagena last Tuesday morning a man of 49 years and Spanish nationality for an alleged crime of injury after assaulting a woman.

The incident took place in Cartagena de Indias Street Barrio de Peral and were reported by several witnesses who witnessed the perpetrator and the victim, who were in a bar, started an argument that ended in a brawl.

As a result, a customer who was in the establishment, trying to prevent the assault, was also injured.

When officers arrived on the scene, found in a street near the implicated still arguing and stopped attacking the victim, so they proceeded to arrest and remand in custody for an alleged crime of injury.
