With the approach of summer, the Department of Education of the City of Cartagena has re-organize their activities for the summer aimed at kids between 4 and 16 years, such as Summer Schools, Las Colonias Road Music and Education in Summer .
The first two will be developed in different schools in the municipality during the month of July, in the case of Road Safety Education, will be held at the Park Road Education Cartagena, also topped the first half of August.
The registration period for these activities starts today May 21 and runs until June 1, can be done through the municipal website
SUMMER SCHOOL
Are held throughout the month of July in the morning sessions from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00.
Are aimed at children aged between 5 and 12, organized into two groups, one from 5 to 8 years old and a 9 to 12.
This project involves carrying out activities of both individual and group that are organized into thematic blocks.
For parents to know the company, the team of instructors and program of activities before the onset of summer schools, they are called for an introductory meeting.
The registration period will be from May 21 to June 1, inclusive, to be effective the application deadline from 09:00 hours on 21 May until 14:00 on June 1, 2012, can be done: in the municipal website or in the Department of Education, from 09:00 to 14:00, at the headquarters of Round City of La Union, No. 4, 1st floor.
Only one entry per child allowed in a single center.
Parents must enroll within 5 working days after registration, to which should give the account number where do the related revenue.

The amount of the Summer Schools will be 100 euros, of which 25 are subsidized by the Department of Education and 75 euros will be provided by parents.

MUSICAL COLONIES

Target a total of 75 children from 4 to 12, forming two groups according to age.
The aim of these Colonies Musical is not theoretical, but the child begins to enjoy music, laugh with her, working through the artistic sensibility of classical music, and create a workshop during the holidays that enables the school, develop his musical interests.
Ultimately, children can participate in a complete and comprehensive music program.

THE Education "N ROAD IN SUMMER
The purpose of it is to achieve in children and young people, higher levels of road safety when driving through the streets and highways, as well as pedestrians, passengers or riders of bicycles and mopeds.
The recipients are children and young people aged between 9 and 16, possessing card rider, performing this activity on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the two fortnights of the month of July and the first half of August, from 10am to 12 hours.
The Summer Driver Education will be held at Park Road Education Cartagena, on the street à ngel Bruna, using their classroom theory sessions, and road circuit for practical sessions.
The number of places is limited and will be addressed in order of registration, which can be made ​​from May 21 to June 1, inclusive, from 09:00 to 14:00.
