Night of the Museums adds a new musical, Cadiofónico Method of Germain Diaz, the varied cultural city that will live on Saturday May 19.
Cardiofónico method is a proposal based on the rhythms of heartbeats Dr. Iriarte recorded in the forties and released on vinyl with the same name.
Taking this as basis, the musician Valladolid emigrated to Galicia, Germain Diaz, undisputed master of this ancient instrument, the hurdy-gurdy, creating a unique sound universe using mechanical devices that read punched cards in which Diaz writes the melodies .
The playasax, the rolmónica color, the body of Barbaria and the music box, bind to the crank of the hurdy gurdy, and live loop recording to walk between improvisation and the rigidity of perforated cards.
At 23.00 and 00.30 hours, at the Castillo de la Concepción (CI From the History of Cartagena), Germain Diaz give two concerts in 30 minutes with limited capacity, which promises to be one of the jewels of this program year's Night of Museums.
