Apices Association met last year its twentieth anniversary rehabilitating people with chronic mental illness within the commemoration of the twentieth anniversary, yesterday presented a book that collects experiences of the center itself and all that make up tips, users, volunteers, families, trainers and managers.
Ultimate aim is to make known a little more all activities can be performed to achieve better quality of life of people with mental illness and their families, and normalize this type of disease as one more.
The presentation took place at the hall of the building of the UNED, attended by councilors of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and Woman, Clara Heredia, also director of the UNED, Juan Antonio Cavas, and many families who gathered at this event, which was an emotional memory for which so far has been president of the organization, Francisco Morata Andreo.
In this event, also showed the latest work in the Art Therapy Workshop, this year, entitled The Garden of Joy, aims to provide a ray of hope in difficult times.
The exhibition is open until 23 May in the lobby of the UNED and the building's regular schedule.
