Residence from the Virgen del Mar, on Tuesday made a tour of the surroundings of the Old Cathedral, including the Roman Theater and participated in a radio program together with the councilors and Culture Social Care
A group of elders of the Virgen del Mar Residence in San Anton, were on Tuesday to visit the old city, particularly in the vicinity of the Old Cathedral, where they had the opportunity to meet also the Teatro Romano.
After the visit, the bar's Cathedral offered a snack, and two of them participated in a radio show along with the councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and the Councillor for Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Rosario Montero.
This activity, sponsored by that restaurant, in collaboration with the Department of Social Services has been designed and adapted for a group of seniors with mobility problems.
It is part of a cycle that takes place on a Tuesday of each month, began on March 27, and so far have participated over the Residencia Los Almendros and residence Care, is scheduled to also enjoy it the remainder of residences and Cartagena day centers.
These initiatives are intended to promote cultural activities for the enjoyment of leisure time of older people with special needs.
