Writers Carlos Salem and Begoņa Gold collected on Monday, May 7 in the Auditorium and Convention Awards The Batel Hache Mandarache and 2012.

The judges of these awards are made ââup of hundreds of young readers organized reading committees: 1,200 adolescents (12-14 years) in the Award Hache and 1,500 youth (15-30 years) in the Mandarache Award.
These awards make up the Project Training Mandarache Readers, implemented since 2004 by the City of Cartagena.
The two winning writers, Carlos Salem and Begona Oro, return to the port city to celebrate their success and collect their awards, both endowed with 3,000 euros and a reproduction of a sculpture by artist Angel Haro.
In addition to prizes awarded to writers called Supplemental Awards involving young readers: Literary Criticism Award, Award for Illustration, Microstories Award, Award for best work of a teaching team and award the best work of promote reading.
