One hundred and fifty high school students visit the region tomorrow, Friday, Agrifood Experimental Station 'Tomás Ferro ".
The visit is part of the national education program called 'Itineraries Teachers Agrifood 2012'.
The "Routes Teachers Agrifood 2012" allows students to make a day of practice at the Experimental Station of Agrifood UPCT, located in the town of La Palma.
This activity will allow students to know the main processes involved in an agricultural engineer in the food chain to produce, process and handling food, notes the director of the Experimental Station, Bernard Martin.
The program is conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.
These visits allow the ETSIA disseminate scientific culture among secondary students and to encourage scientific careers.
Students come from IES Sierra Minera, La Union, school Susarte, Las Torres de Cotillas, the IES Juan Sebastian Elcano, Cartagena and the IES Miguel Hernandez, Alhama de Murcia.
