As is tradition, the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment No. 73, based in Cartagena, now commemorated on May 2, the heroic uprising against Napoleon and his troops led by the captains of artillery Daoíz and Velarde in 1808.
To celebrate, this afternoon has developed a military parade in the Port of Cartagena, which was stated as indicated feat.
A battery with bracket and Banda, and a battery of cannons à ‰ little, have been responsible for honoring the National Flag.
It has also given the distinction of Honorary President Gunner Port Authority, Adrian à ngel Viudes, through close collaboration with the Regiment.
Subsequently there has been a Flag Pledge of civilian personnel, a tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain and decorations have been imposed to personnel of the Task Force of Memory and Liaison Service (CSS OMLT 5-3), which recently completed its mission in Afghanistan.
The ceremony was presided by the General Chief of the Antiaircraft Artillery, Vicente Moreno Cuesta, and municipal representation have been councilors for Infrastructure and Public Safety, Francisco Espejo, Mariano Garcia.
