The best Laser sailors in the form 4.7, 120 in total, will bring together, from 28 April and 1 May in the harbor of Cartagena to participate in the Cup of Spain of that mode, which will bring around town about 300 visitors with family and friends of the participants.
For the Councillor for Sports, José Cabezos, the effort is appreciated that the Cartagena Racing Club plays in the organization of this type of sporting events involving investment return and city brand, because it carries hotel occupancy and activity for local economic and downtown businesses.
Besides Cabezos in the presentation of the Cup have been the president of the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, Miguel à ngel Celdran, the Principal Officer of the race, Pedro Reyes, and the president of the Sailing Federation of Murcia Pedro Roman.
The race will go to the top of the field, because for the first time will not be open, but the rating system by their respective territorial federations.
The main figures are the components of the Canarian team, featuring the newly proclaimed world runners-up Argentina, Nahuel Rodriguez and Yolanda Luque, besides the champion under 16 years, also in Argentine waters, Joel Rodriguez.
All three will be joined by Martina Kingdom, ranked fifth in the overall female, or Marina Cabrera, eighth.
A priori and they all have come in all the pools to fill some of the podium places.
But not the only ones that have a leading role in the waters of Cartagena, as they will be measured with the best in Spain, representing Catalonia, Balearic Islands, Andalusia, Melilla, Galicia, Madrid, Canary Islands, Asturias, Cantabria, Valencia, and Basque Country, in addition to the sailors themselves in the Region of Murcia, most notably Pepe Teresa Blasco and Pineiro as major champions.
The Torrevieja Unai Peralta, recently crowned regional champion, is one of the main advantages of Valencia, but also include representatives of nautical Campello, Ivan Moreno, or sailing in Valencia, Ico Botella, who shaped the podium at the Autonomous Valenciano.
Andalusians, Antonio Pate, the nautical Trocadero, aims to be in the top ten, the same as Seville or Jaime Raul Sanchez Ramos, Puerto Sherry.
Catalonia will be other powers at the meeting in Cartagena, as it presents to 21 sailors.
The Galicians, and above all, the Balearics, can play a very important and decisive in the three days of competition, in which nine tests are planned, three per day.

On Saturday April 28 will take place the measurement of vessels and Sunday 29 am competition proper begins with the development of the first test.
On Monday 30 is held the second day and already on day 1, we made the last three rounds, giving the awards evening.
Spain Cup 2012 Laser 4.7, is hosted by the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, in collaboration with the Federation of Sailing in the Region of Murcia and the Spanish Association International Laser Class, with Posadas sponsored by Spain.
