People's University in the Department of Culture of Cartagena has organized within the activities of Nature Workshop, talk SACRE-Murcia 2012, for the dissemination and promotion of program Monitoring Nearby Bird Breeders.
The practice session was held Thursday in the classroom of the UP and completed on Saturday April 21 with a field trip.
The objectives of the course, taught by Jesus Antonio Hernandez Navarro, biologist and regional coordinator of the program in Murcia SACRE are, first, start training for people interested in the conservation and study of birds, and secondly, to inform and facilitate collaboration in the SACRE program organized and coordinated in Spain by the Spanish Ornithological Society.
The contents are focused on identifying the most common birds of Murcia and the SACRE program and its importance in the conservation of birds in Spain.
The Nature Workshop is a training-action taking place throughout the school year all the Thursday afternoon and weekends.
