Students in Initial Vocational Training Program (PCPI) of the Local Development Agency and Employment (ALDE) have started work experience at the Youth Center and Quarrying Occupational Training.
Councilman Employment, Diego Ortega and the director of the ADLE, Francisco Garcia-Valenzuela, last week visited the facilities in which students will complete their training.
The work being carried out in quarries are the specialties of Auxiliary Operations-Painter Masonry and Plumbing and Heating Operations. Both programs are funded by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Autonomous Community.
Interns are young people between 16 and 21, who have not earned the title of Secondary Education.
The objective of this training is again led us back to education and improve their employability.
Within the specialty of Operations Auxiliary Masonry-Pintor, students receive specific training in areas such as trim and plaster, paint and wallpaper, and production ceilings.
On the other hand, in the specialty of Plumbing and Heating Operations, students within the specific training module are conducting activities related to evacuation networks, basic plumbing and heating and air conditioning equipment assembly.
Also, the ADLE provided to the student placements in companies at the end of the project.
