The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, said today that the Adjustment Plan be submitted by the City of Cartagena in the coming days to the Ministry of Finance, provides neither layoffs nor lowered wages.
Asked by the journalists on the progress of this plan, the mayor has said his development now focuses on the efforts of the Municipal Government Team and the Finance and Treasury officials, full-time.
According to Barreiro, is a complex document in which they ask a lot of data, along with the economic forecasts for the next ten years, in which the City must return the 37 million that he will advance to pay off its debt to suppliers .
The time that central government has been very short, added the mayor, as the March 12 forms were received to complete the list of invoices and the 15th should be already submitted.
Now for the Adjustment Plan calls for something similar since, according to Barreiro, you have to take a picture of the entire municipal finance with forecasts for the next ten years in a paper to be presented and discussed in plenary on 28 March.
