The Agency for Local Development and Employment give a course on Aquatic Lifeguard Service funded by the Regional Employment and Training and the European Social Fund.
More than a hundred people showed up to the selection tests, but only has selected thirteen students who will be attending classes until 1 June.
The course is 250 hours and training is both theoretical and practical in the municipality beaches and pools.
After school, students can do internships in companies. In 2011, 43% of course participants found jobs after the internship.
