The Councillor for Finance, Fatima Suanzes, has reassured the disabled who have mistakenly received tax receipt of vehicles and, in fact, are exempt from paying the amount to have their disability recognized by Murcian Institute for Social Action (IMAS) .
According Suanzes, there has been confusion in the listings and have sent letters to people who do not have to pay the tax. We are studying each case individually to give solution as soon as possible, said the councilor.
In this year's tax ordinances have been implemented the judgments of the Supreme Court said that only entitled to exemption from vehicle tax, those disabled people who have recognized more than 33% disabled by the IMAS.
Previously there were other agencies also recognized disability, but have no defects validity of this tax, so those people do that this year will have to pay the stamp of the car.
