The Finance Comión unanimously finds the proposal and gives the green light with the abstention of the opposition to dissolve the Association of Tourist Services of the Mar Menor and the new express license fees
The Information Committee of Finance and Internal Affairs met on Wednesday, chaired by the councilor in charge of the area, Fatima Suances.
The meeting was preparatory to the matters to be included in the agenda of the next full City.
Among them was the proposal for initial approval of Ordinance Regulating the fees for the provision of urban services, whose opinion has been favorable with the abstention of the opposition groups: Socialist Party, United Left and Mixed.
Specifically it was the adaptation of the fees paid for the processing of new licenses express.
As you may recall the City Council recently approved an ordinance for administrative simplification that reduced to 10 days the period for granting licenses to open businesses.
This will adapt the fees previously paid citizens to the new procedures, simple and reduced.
The Committee also reported favorably, with the abstention of the opposition, the proposed dissolution of the Association of Tourist Services of the Mar Menor, also built by the municipalities of San Javier, Los Alcazares and San Pedro, also showed favorable this solution.
There was unanimous opinion from the Commission regarding the change of name of the current northern access to Cartagena, which will be renamed Avenue Victor Beltrí, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Catalan architect, one of the greatest precursors of modernism in the city.
Finally the Commission has been informed of the approval of the general budget of the City of Cartagena in 2012, after the desestimiento of appeal against the approval of Iberdrola, and judged favorably, with the vote of the opposition, dismissing the Claims Against the amendment of tax ordinances governing the installation of meters and sewer.
