A school open to other cultures. This is called the program to be launched jointly by the Municipal Institute of Social Services and the Department of Education in 19 schools in Cartagena and will last until the end of the course.
The objective of this program is to conduct activities to sensitize students to the theme of immigration and cultural diversity.
It also fosters a climate of cooperation and promotes the teaching of values ​​of tolerance and mutual solidarity among students.
The centers participating in this program are: Ben Arabi, El Bohio, Galileo, Jimenez De La Espada, Mediterranean, Pedro Peñalver, Polytechnic, San Isidore, St. Lucia, Early Lopez, Leonardo Da Vinci, Hannibal, Virginia Perez, Gabriela Mistral Miguel De Cervantes, Our Lady of Sorrows, Vicente Medina, San Cristobal and La Concepcion.
The activities of the centers developed in collaboration with several NGOs in the municipality and the technicians who run the associations Welcomes Murcia, Accem, Columbares, CEPAIM, La Botica del Libro, Intered and Rascasa.
