The Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena coordinates a year organizing the wreath at the city's patron saint, Our Lady of Charity, held on Good Friday, March 30.
To participate in this traditional event, which should come dressed in the costume of Cartagena, associations and groups who are interested can register from 28 February to 20 March in the Department of Culture, located at the Cultural Center Ramon Alonso Luzzy, either in person or via fax (968128853) or e-mail .
The same term is opened for bands of horns and drums and any other musical groups that will form part of the parade.
The parade before the offering will focus on City Hall Square at 16:30, departing at 17:00 and will run along the following route: Calle Mayor, Plaza de San Sebastian, Puerta de Murcia, Sagasta, Tolosa Latour Carmen, Santa Florentina, Park, Plaza Lopez Pinto, Merganser and Church Charity.
Persons wishing to participate and are not members, also may contact the Department at the above deadline for placement in the group, representing the Department closes the parade.
In addition to the baskets of flowers, the bouquets can be placed into brackets installed for that purpose, just like last year, on both sides of the entrance to the Church of Charity throughout the day whether or not to participate in the parade.
